"Mommy's Mug Rug"

After Brooklynne finished "Scrappy Foxy" she wanted to make a birthday gift for her Mommy so she decided to make a mug rug. As she was arranging her fabric patches on the design wall she asked me "Gammy, do I HAVE to sew this one by hand?"  I told her that she could now use the sewing machine so this is her first quilt she made using the sewing machine.  She also quilted it herself with some straight lines. My daughter was blown away by her birthday gift.

Brooklynne entered "Mommy's Mug Rug" in the 2017 Plantation Quilting Guild Quilt Show with "Scrappy Foxy" and she recieved the 2nd place ribbon for it.
