Halloween Quilt-Not named yet
(Click on slide to see full picture)
Brooklynne enjoys going to the "Girl Friday Bee" with me when she's not in school. Girl Friday meets every Friday at the Stephen F. Austin Statue Visitors Center. She loves sewing with the ladies and has so much fun seeing all the projects they are working on.
The Halloween Quilt was her 2017 summer project and was entirely sewn at the Girl Friday Bee. This quilt top sports her very first pieced border and she just loves the piano key border because she got to put so many different fun fabrics in it. She's a natural born fabriholic and has her very own stash of fabric at my house which she's been collecting for about 5 years now.
Brooklynne is very patiently waiting for her personal quilter (aka: Gammy) to quilt it. She doesn't know it yet but I'm thinking this quilt will be her first one to FMQ. She'll be practicing FMQ'ing soon and then I'll turn her loose and let her quilt this one. She's been doodling quilt designs in spiral notebooks since she was about 7..she's 11 now (2019).
